Congratulations to BASA Club Administrator Kay Palmer who was honored as the 2025 Michigan State Youth Soccer Association Administrator of the Year.

Kay is the glue that holds so many things at BASA together and we couldn’t be more proud of her.

Congratulations to the BASA U11 boys who went 3 and 0 to win the 2025 BASA Soccerween Championship!

The BASA 2010 Girls continued their historic success in 2025, advancing even further in the MSYSA State Cup. After a 2–0 quarterfinal victory, they secured a hard-fought 2–1 win over TBAYS North Storm in the semifinals to earn a place in the State Cup Final. The team competed for the championship against Midland Fusion 10 Green at the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, marking the deepest State Cup run in BASA history. Although they fell in a competitive final, the 2010 Girls’ back-to-back breakthrough seasons solidified their place as one of the most accomplished teams in club history.

The 2011 boys made the trip to Hershey, PA and played 4 hard fought games in the 2025 Hershey Summer Classic. They came home with 2nd place after finishing 2-1-1

The BASA U-9 Boys won their division championship at the 2025 Petoskey Fresh Coast Classic and were undefeated during the regular season with an overall record of 22-2 for the year! Great job boys for your first travel season!

BASA’s 2010 Girls were undefeated and crowned champions in the 2025 Petoskey Summer Blast tournament. The team recorded two shutouts while only allowing 2 goals and scoring 12 goals during the tournament. Congratulations girls!

The U13 girls battled it out in Petoskey this weekend at the 2025 Fresh Coast Classic. With 1 loss and 2 wins, they went into the final and came home champions!

BASA U10 Boys are the 2025 Midland Invitational Tournament champions! The boys had a fabulous weekend of soccer winning every game.

Our U9 girls also went undefeated at the Midland Invitational tournament with 2 wins and 1 tie in bracket play before beating Freeland 2-0 in the final to take home the championship!

So proud of their hustle and heart!

Congratulations to the BASA 10 Girls and BASA 06/07 Boys for bringing home championships this past weekend from the 2025 Middletown Spring Blast tournament in Ohio.

The girls went 3-0-1, including a 3-0 victory in the final. The tie was a game that got rained out and not rescheduled, resulting in a default score of 0-0. During the course of the weekend, the team allowed only 1 goal while scoring 10.

The boys also went 3-0-1, including a 3-0 victory in the final. During the course of the weekend, the team allowed just 3 goals while scoring 16.

BASA 14 Girls White took second place at CMU Soccerfest this weekend. They spent a long fifteen hour, five game day on the pitch, and battled hard in the championship game. Congratulations!

Four BASA teams captured championships at the 2024 Soccerween Tournament in an impressive showing of club-wide success. The 2011 Girls and 2010 Girls each went undefeated to claim their divisions, while the 2011 Boys battled through tough matchups to secure a decisive championship win. The 2016 Boys Blue demonstrated resilience throughout the weekend, advancing through semifinals and avenging an earlier loss to take the U9 Boys Black Division title. It was a memorable weekend that highlighted the depth, teamwork, and competitive spirit across the BASA program.

The BASA 2010 Girls made club history with an outstanding run in the 2024 MSYSA State Cup, becoming the first BASA team to advance beyond preliminary round play. They dominated pool play with a 3–0 record, outscoring opponents 20–1 to earn a spot in the elimination round. The team continued their impressive performance with a 2–1 victory over Plymouth Reign in the State Cup Quarterfinals. Their remarkable tournament run came to an end in the semifinal against Royal Oak, but their achievement marked a major milestone for the club. The 2010 Girls’ success showcased the strength, determination, and growth of the BASA program.

Congrats to our 2015 BASA Girls on wining the 2024 Spirit of Saginaw Invitational. They bounced back from a loss in their first game to make it to the finals where they won 1-0 and played extraordinary Team Defense. Way to go girls we are so proud of you.

The BASA 2014 girls Finalists at the Spirit of Saginaw tournament. The girls were undefeated in their bracket and fell in the final in a Penalty Kick Shootout.

Congratulations to the BASA 07 Boys U-17 team for their outstanding performance at the 2024 Great Lakes College Showcase in Canton, Ohio.

The team went undefeated with 2-1, 3-0, and 5-0 victories.

Congrats to the BASA 11 Boys team. The team split into two for the 2024 CMU Soccerfest tournament with both squads advancing to the final where they finished with a 3-3 tie and a shared championship.

Congratulations to the BASA 10 Girls team! They placed 2nd in the 2024 Petoskey Fresh Coast Classic Tournament.

They went 3-0 in pool play before falling in the championship game to the Michigan Rangers Elite 64.

The team went 3-0 in group play but came up short in the finals to a good Red Arrow SC team.
