BASA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR GRADUATING SENIORS
Bay Area Soccer Association Scholarship Program
BASA offers a college scholarship to high school seniors graduation in the program year. See the requirements below and download the application here.
Application Requirements:

The BASA Scholarship Program application form.

A copy of your most current official high school transcript.

This program is open only to high school seniors graduating in the program year.

A typewritten essay on “How soccer has helped me as an individual” must be submitted along with the application. This essay will be a minimum of 250 words, but not more than 500 words. This essay will include a personal biography containing academic and athletic achievements, honorary or special interest organizations, community involvement, high school major, course of study you plan to pursue, awards you have received, and a brief description of any way you have given back to soccer, i.e. coach, referee, club volunteer, etc.

Applicants must have participated in some fashion (player, referee, coach, volunteer) for a minimum of eight (8) full seasons at BASA.

Applicants must carry a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and must be accepted at an accredited university, college, community or junior college, or other institution of higher learning.

Applicants must personally apply for this scholarship.

An oral interview with the BASA Scholarship Committee is required for all finalists.

Applications must be received no later than April 1. BASA is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail.
