    Latest Information

National Youth License Course this Summer
MSYSA will be hosting a National Youth License
Course this summer. Classroom and field sessions
will be held August 10-15th at the Holt 9th Grade
Building and Soccer Complex near Lansing.

If you are unfamiliar with the National Youth License,
it is the most important soccer coaching course provided
in the United States. It is strongly recommended for
all club directors of coaching, youth coaches, and
soccer administrators. It designed to provide these
individuals with the knowledge to successfully structure
soccer environments for children aged 4-12. Specifically,
the course curriculum focuses on the nature of children at
these ages, and the adjustments adults must make to
successfully coach them. Youth Coaches have a tremendous
influence on the development of a child's life-long passion
for the game, and because of that, this course is crucial
for the future of soccer in America.
